Ms. Garling has taken the position of City Recorder beginning in 2021 for the City of Wrightsville. She is the mother of 3 grown children and enjoys serving her community and watching the city grow. When asked what is the best part of being an officer for the City of Wrightsville, her response is:
"I enjoy being able to serve my community.... Wrightsville is a place that I love and was raised in and it's an honor to serve its people"
Mabeline Hansberry has taken the position of City Treasurer beginning in 2021 for the City of Wrightsville. Mrs. Hansberry is married to the Rev. Michael Hansberry and the mother of four adult children and grandmother of four grand children. When asked what is a desired achievement you want to accomplish during your tenure as an elected official for the city, her response is:
"Wrightsville is my home and there is a need for more citizens to get involved in the growth of the city. I hope that more citizens will see the potential of our city and become involved in its growth......."
Alma Garrett has taken the position of Building and Grounds Technician. Mrs. Garrett is the mother of two adult children and grandmother of two grand children. When asked what is the best part about living and working in Wrightsville, her response is:
Its always a pleasure to work and serve the community in which you grew up and have lived in.
Tina Smith - Receptionist
Ms. Smith has taken the position of Receptionist beginning July 2022 for the City of Wrightsville. She is the mother of 2 adult sons and enjoys serving her community and maintains a sense of pride in how well the city has developed. When asked the best part about working for the city, her response is:
"I grew up in Wrightsville and enjoy being able to connect with the citizens, and i also enjoy the opportunity to give back to the community as so many leaders of my youth gave to me......"
